Westray Recruitment Group are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to join our client on a permanent contract with an immediate start. THE ROLE
Perform mechanical systems fault finding, overhaul and repair
Carry out pneumatic and hydraulic systems fault finding and repair
Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to schedule
Machine shop, use of manual lathe and miller operation
Installation and commissioning of electro/mechanical processes
Maintenance of heavy machinery and equipment
THE PERSON
Essential
Minimum of time served in maintenance engineering to NVQ Level 3.
Computer literate – Microsoft Office. Desirable
HNC in Engineering
Possession of an IPAF licence, MEWP.
FLT licence, whilst desirable, will be provided in-house.
Desirable
Welding using MIG and stick.
Conduct electrical fault finding using electrical drawings to diagnose and repair hard wiring faults.
Perform PLC fault finding (Ideally Siemens TIA Portal although other PLC experience will be considered).
