Ready to carve out your next move in construction? Building Careers UK (BCUK) is your ticket to an exciting opportunity as a Multi-Skilled Joiner, with HMS, one of the fastest-growing contractors affiliated with the Torus Housing Group in dynamic Merseyside.

Your Mission:

As a Multi-Skilled Joiner, you'll be the driving force behind our team, taking the lead on void and tenanted properties to deliver top-notch responsive maintenance and repairs. We want skilled carpenters who can get the job done and right first time, every time.

The Path Ahead:

Providing you do a good job; we'll look after your interests through our consultants at BCUK - you'll never be out of work. It starts with a temporary contract, lasting approximately three months. If you do a super job, will commit to doing ours and secure you into a full-time role in this multi-million pound business, with an annual salary of �30,930.

What's in Your Toolbox:

You'll be a master craftsman or woman that can delight our clients and its customers, but have you got:

• A proven track record in social housing and public-facing roles.
• A full clean driving license.
• An NVQ or an equivalent qualification in Joinery.
• Extra skills are a bonus - think painting & decorating, roofing, plastering, basic electrics, and plumbing.

Your Responsibilities:

As our Multi-Skilled Joiner, you'll be at the forefront of action. You'll love working with people and being on the tools. One day you could be tackling reactive maintenance on properties in the area or transforming void and tenanted properties; the next you could be working wonders inside a property that will make a difference to someone's life.

We'll expect you to navigate your way in the company van provided and know your way around a PDA system for streamlined operations (that's the easy bit).
