We are currently seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance of a large commercial building, ensuring its smooth operation through both planned and reactive maintenance activities.

Salary: �40,000 per annum

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:45 PM schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a daily basis
  • Perform lighting maintenance including lamp changes, ballast changes, and maintenance of simmtronic/Phillips lighting systems
  • Conduct emergency light testing to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Handle power distribution tasks as required
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently
  • Carry out minor electrical works such as installing new sockets, lights, and circuits
  • Perform minor plumbing works as needed
  • Undertake fabric repairs to maintain the aesthetics and functionality of the building

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified with NVQ/City and Guilds in Electrical Engineering
  • Proficient in the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Experience in commercial building maintenance is preferred
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Health and safety awareness and adherence to regulations
