Position: Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer

Salary: �46,500 to �50,500 per annum, depending on experience, plus 10% Pension, Profit Share Scheme, Incentives, Overtime paid at x1.5 & x2.0, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays

Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating weekly between 6am till 2pm AND 2pm till 10pm - every other Friday off work

Location: Commutable from Newbury, Swindon, Chippenham, Cirencester, Faringdon, Yate, Marlborough, Oxford and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Electrical Engineer to work within a busy factory environment, looking after the day to day maintenance of their production machinery.
It would suit someone who is electrically trained and qualified, enjoys a variety of work, willing to learn new skills and above all, loves getting their hands dirty. Team fit is very important too, someone who is a team player with strong and clear communication skills.
Responsibilities
Whilst working in a large company, you will be benefit from working in a small team on night shift. The role is multi skilled but focusing more on electrical and maintenance of plant machinery, with a heavy bias on dealing with breakdowns re-actively as well as supporting planned preventative maintenance. Probably a 70/30 split, biased to breakdown repairs. The role provides autonomy, accountability and a degree of flexibility.
� Focusing and biased on Electrical maintenance and fitting work across all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned maintenance, shut downs and project work.

� Working in a dedicated multi skilled team, although you will be more responsible for all electrics across the factory.

� Identification of solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.

� Support the handover of work to the opposite shift and ensure works are logged and recorded.

� To work safely at all times and follow safe systems of work.

� To be actively involved in the development and continued planned preventative maintenance schedule.
Machinery in this environment is mainly all plastics related, including extruding, moulding, conveyors, mixers. It is a heavy plant environment with older machines mainly, a place you can expect to get dirty.
Requirements
� Electrically trained and qualified either through an Apprenticeship or hold electrical engineering qualifications.

� Electrical background in a similar environment, in industrial or production or manufacturing environment.

� Your job titles may include Electrician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer or Muti Skilled Engineer.

� We are looking for someone who has SOME of the following electrical experience; AC / DC Motors / Inverters / DC Drives (they have Parker Drives), sensors, relays, control panels, PLC's, fault finding and repairs.

� Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with the hunger to learn and physically fit

� Proactive work attitude and keen to get stuck in
