URGENT MRICS BUILDING SURVEYOR REQUIRED - LONDON - UP TO £75,000 !!Your new company An established firm of Independent Chartered Surveyors providing property surveying services to key clients in the West End and London. They have extensive experience and expertise in Structural Building Surveys, Dilapidations, Party Wall Matters, Building Pathology, Defect Reports, Project Management, Technical Specifications, Health & Safety, Schedules of Condition and Refurbishment. Your new role To undertake all duties deemed necessary by the company to provide support and carry out-to cover the full range of hands on property management activities including but not limited to:* Chartered Building Surveyor with at least two year's post qualified full-time experience covering the full remit of contract and professional work* Commercial refurbishment projects - High-End Offices and Residential conversions * Contract Administration* Feasibility Reports* Party Wall Matters* Project Management* Construction Design* Knowledge of construction on-site, its application in office work/documentation and vice versa* Dilapidations* Building Surveys* Preparation of Specifications and drawings* Fire Insurance Valuations* Conservation Work* To work with commercial clients in central London, on repeat and portfolio management-type work.* Used to working in a larger team of consultants, including planners, agents, engineers and surveyors* Able to work on a mixture of different scaled projects simultaneously* Required to adapt and fulfil roles typical of a flexible small practice* Be methodical/ organised with work following a tight programme and with regards to contract administration* Assisting to supervise and develop staff, including their APC training* Have good presentation and communication skills, in verbal, written and drawn media* Proficient use of AutoCAD 2016 and Microsoft Office* Knowledge of Revit and Adobe Photoshop CC/Elements advantageousWhat you'll need to succeed Membership to the Royal Institute of Chartered SurveyorsBSc in Building Surveying Proficient in MS OfficeProficient in AutoCADWorking knowledge of Rebit, Adobe Photoshop and CC/ ElementsWhat you'll get in return You will become a valued member of the team with a clear progression path from day one to grow and develop your professional skills and abilities.
