The Imaging team are renowned for their patient experience, so is vital for the MRI Lead to come in and showcase what this looks like.The service boasts state of the art equipment to support their patient's journey, with their imaging centre offering General Radiography, Mammography, Diagnostic Ultrasound, Multislice CT and MRI. The Hospital includes a variety of services enabling the patient to complete their care without the need to use an additional provider and has attained industry leading accreditations, which is reflective on the level of care the team deliver to its patients.You will be able to work with some fantastic equipment, including a Siemens 1.5T Aera and Altea machine. Due to the nature of the service, it is paramount to have experience within Cardiac MRI. Although you will be fully competent in other areas of MRI, Cardiac is going to be further developed within the service with additional sequences being added in the future.You will be able to demonstrate your ability to lead a team of highly skilled imaging personnel, on the delivery of an exceptional patient experience. Having exposure to re-writing policies and protocols and implementing SOP's will support your application. The implementation of regulations set by the relevant regulatory bodies to ensure a safe working environment for staff and patients alike will be at the forefront of your role. With this in mind, it will be crucial to have a thorough understanding of IR(ME)R , MRI Safety and CQC guidelines.You will work closely with the Imaging Manager on the delivery of business objectives, this could include the development of the service.
