We are looking for an experienced Mechanic / Technician to join well-established Garage based in Widnes, Merseyside.
SALARY: £34,000 basic salary + bonus
LOCATION: Widnes, Merseyside, North West England
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday 8.15am 5.30pm. Every other Saturday 8.15am to 1pm
PLEASE NOTE: You will need a full drivers licence and your own tools

DUTIES
Your duties as a Vehicle Mechanic / Motor Vehicle Technician include:
Vehicle Servicing, maintenance and all aspects MOT repair work
Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and industry trends
MOT testing (if you are interested in gaining your MOT Qualification then following your induction period we will be happy to discuss arranging and funding this for you).
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Level 3 in vehicle repairs or equivalent
Minimum 5 years previous industry experience
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Solid understanding of automotive systems and components
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
A full drivers licence and your own tools
