MOT Tester required for Independent Garage in Hastings, East Sussex!
Basic Salary Up to £35,000
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:30 (Part Time Considered)
NO WEEKENDS!

Our Client, an independent RAC Approved Garage based in the Hastings area dealing with all makes of models of vehicles are seeking an MOT Tester for their Bosch Approved Service Centre.
They are a well-respected automotive business, with a reputation for quick turn-around of work and great customer satisfaction.
Our Client has a great reputation for creating a friendly working environment, away from the day-to-day pressures of Manufacturers and Dealer Groups in their fully equipped modern workshop.
They are seeking individuals who want to be part of a special team for the long-haul, and help ensure that the business offers a stable environment for staff and customers alike.

A Competitive Basic Salary - Basic Salary up to £35,000.
Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30 Only - NO WEEKENDS.

Duties of an MOT Tester with our Client:
Carry out MOT preparation/MOT Tests within allotted timeframe.
Communicate issues to service manager and service advisors; conduct additional repair work as advised by managers or advisors.
Adhere to MOT requirements in line with government and company policy.
Keep work area clean, neat, and to company standards, especially to ensure safety of all team members.
What our Client expects of their MOT Testers:
Qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance or Similar.
To provide basic tooling and equipment, or be able to purchase own basic tooling and equipment prior to employment.
MOT testing licence essential - Class 4 and 7 preferably.
A willingness to learn new skills.
Organisational skills, and work well under pressure.
Knowledge of the motor trade.
Good team player.
Full UK driving licence (Necessity).
