Mobile M&E Engineer vacancy in Southampton and Basingstoke (039jc) Mobile M&E Engineer (039jc) – Southampton and Basingstoke - £43 – 45k + BenefitsMy client who has a history of over 200 years in the deliver a range of building, engineering and maintenance solutions to some of the region’s most iconic landmarks are now seeking to recruit a Mobile M&E Engineer.You will be reporting to the Contracts Manager and your role will be to ensure that all equipment on sites is running efficiently and to optimum level as required by the client and the company.Therefore, your key responsibilities and accountabilities will include:• Plan and organise personal daily electrical and Mechanical work.• Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns and reactive work requests.• Fix faults on site or arrange for replacement machinery or equipment to be installed.• Make scheduled checks.• Complete electrical and mechanical tasks to ensure projects and improvements are implemented.• Manage planned and unplanned work.• Maintain documented evidence for all departments in preparation for audits, invoicing and legislative purposes.• Ensure high standards of Health and Safety at all times.• Ensure all work carried out to standard required by both the company and client.• Attend training as required.• Role will necessitate some out of hours work on a call out rota, approximately 1 in 4 weeks.• Produce detailed periodic reports.To be eligible for this role you will need the following qualifications, skills, and abilities:• Relevant C&G/NVQ as well as Legionella (L8)• Apprenticeship/Mechanical qualifications suitable for this sort of role.• Health and Safety Awareness• Experience in a reactive maintenance, as well as PPM, HVAC and as well as small works.• Strong interpersonal skills• A positive attitude• Team oriented.• Attention to detail and accurate.• Excellent customer service skills• Basic Computer literacy• Driving Licence essential• Ideally have knowledge of CAFM system.In return they are offering an excellent starting salary, with the ability to earn extra with an enhanced overtime rate, 25 days + Bank Holidays, smartphone, tools, uniform + PPE, as well as Life Assurance, and company pension and other benefits.For more information, please contact Jean-Claude Hedouin at Ex-Mil Recruitment Ltd on 0333 202 6500, or ##### or via the website www.ex-mil.co.uk If you are ready for a new role and the next step in your career, take a look at our latest positions available and find your perfect fit.
