Mobile Gas Engineer

Mobile gas engineer required - FM sectorWe are currently working with one of our clients in the facilities management sector, supporting them with a search for an experienced and qualified mobile commercial gas engineer, with experience working in the commercial FM and property maintenance sector.Our client are a Yorkshire based facilities provider, who offer total building solutions and FM for commercial builidngs within the private and public sectors. As a commercial gas engineer, your duties will include the following :
* Undertaking service, repair and replacement of gas fire plant including providing reports, recommendations and quotations
* Undertaking installation, modification and replacement of pipework
* Participation of an on call rota
* Performing planned and reactive maintenance tasks on all equipment including fault finding and repair
* Willingness to undertake training and get involved with other multi skilled trade work as and when requiredThe relevant candidate for this role will have all or some of the following working experience and qualifications :
* Commercial gas safe (COCN1 or CODNCO1)
* Testing and purging of pipework up to 150mm
* Installation of pipework in excess of 28mm
* Direct and indirect fired commercial appliances
* Central heating boilers & water heatersOn offer is a starting salary of between £37000 and £45000 depending on experience.
