What’s the position?
We are seeking an Engineering Manager for Mobile Development to lead our technology team in developing and supporting our SportsBook & Casino platforms. This role involves significant ownership and leadership in mobile development. You will be a key technical contact for stakeholders, driving the front-end and native architecture and development with a focus on React Native and native iOS/Android applications. Your passion for technology and delivering high-quality deliverables will be crucial in our fast-paced, startup environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of React Native developers.
Assist in driving the architecture and design of our mobile application.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Partner with other leaders to maintain high standards of software quality within the team.
Provide technical guidance in React Native and native mobile development.
Partner with engineering leads and developers to document team processes and standards.
Stay abreast of emerging mobile technologies and best practices.
Participate in hiring and long-term growth of the team.
Partner with other leaders to ensure on time delivery of releases.
Be a champion for ensuring and maintaining a high-quality bar of our mobile application.
What are we looking for?
An experienced mobile engineer with leadership skills, eager to tackle challenges with innovative solutions and high-quality technical implementations. The ideal candidate is forward-thinking, understanding our vision and its impact on customer experience, and committed to advancing our goal of delivering the best customer experience. The ideal candidate will have:
Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent mobile development experience.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in information technology, with a significant portion in leadership or managerial roles, showcasing a track record of driving technical excellence and managing teams.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Extensive experience with React Native, native iOS, and Android development.
Proficiency in API design and integration.
Experience with AWS Cloud technologies.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Prior experience in online gaming or sports betting is a plus.
