We pride ourselves on placing people at the centre of what we do, while maintaining our values of high quality and excellent customer care.The Role - Mobile EngineerYou will be working for the successful Facilities Management division, to manage and deliver a large range of various civil and general building projects across Essex & the London Area.The Installation/ maintenance of sewage treatment plant, Pumps, drainage systems, pumping stations and fuel interceptors' installations to excavation of trenches for cable and or pipe runs, and resurfacing works (tarmac and or concrete, paving) are some of the typical grounds and civil works undertaken. PDM operate across the south predominantly in the southeast region working on Essex County Council, Mitie, Ringway Jacob’s, Police, Essex Fire and Rescue and many school contracts to name a few as well as supporting our own pinnacle contacts.Key Responsibilities/Duties Carry out general building works, repairs and maintenance.Removing and installing drainage and pipework systems.Laying pavements, kerbs and driveways.Interpreting drawings and technical specifications.Following technical specifications and plans to perform Groundwork/Construction tasks.Preparing the ground and foundations in preparation for other construction work to begin.Digging trenches and moving ground.Working with waterways and connecting pipework to existing pipework.Following relevant health and safety procedures and risk management.Setting up site including barriers, safety signage and huts/small work buildings.Using equipment and tools effectively to perform construction tasks.Being observant for Health & Safety issues and ensuring they are rectified or reported.Assist service providers whilst on site.Carrying out minor repairs and decoration works Skills General maintenance skills, multi tradesGood problem solvingA good level of physical fitness to perform required tasks.Ability to read technical specifications and diagrams.Able to work effectively as part of a diverse team.Support a labourer and oversee their work.Previous experience within Groundworks or assisting Groundworkers.Flexible and adaptable approach in relation to covering shifts, emergency callouts.Ability to work in a team and share knowledge.Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training to develop role.To be able to demonstrate the behaviours required in line with Pinnacle’s ValuesClean driving licenceDigger operators' licence Pinnacle Group strives to be an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from anyone regardless of ethnic origin, gender, disability, age, trade union activity, marital status, religious belief or sexual orientation.We are Armed Forces friendly.
