Job Opportunity: Mobile Engineer - Residential and Commercial HeatingLocation: Southwest / Southeast London (and UK areas if required)IR35 Status: Inside Expected Start Date: ImmediateAnticipated Duration: OngoingExpenses: Yes - travel, parking, own vehicle (E.ON may provide vehicle & fuel card for work use only)Willingness to Travel: EssentialHours: 7.4 hours (36 mins lunch) = 8-hour day / 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri with opportunity for overtime and occasional call-outs if moved to permanent roleShift Patterns: 08:30am - 05:30pmOverview:Join our team as a Mobile Engineer, responsible for planned and reactive installation and maintenance activities in residential and commercial heating systems. You'll work on District Heating Networks (DHN) and communal heating schemes primarily in Southwest London, with occasional travel to other UK areas.Role Responsibilities:Installation and maintenance of Heat Interface Units (HIU), servicing, breakdowns, and upgradesGeneral plumbing and heating work, including HVAC tasksCompliance with health and safety regulations and performance measuresSupporting other teams to ensure quality services for customersQualifications and Skills:NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent in plumbing, heating, mechanical (basic electrical advantageous)Valid driving license requiredExperience with domestic gas boilers and relevant gas safety registration preferredHIU and DHN experience advantageousStrong IT skills and ability to work with PC-based systemsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to form effective relationships and prioritize tasks effectivelyDevelopment Opportunities:Internal training provided on HIUs, Heat Pumps, and DHNsOpportunity to develop skills in heating and plumbing advancementsProgression within the company to learn new skills and knowledgeHow to Apply:If you're ready to take on this exciting role and contribute to the growth of the District Heating industry, apply now with your CV and cover letter.
