Mobile/App QA Lead

Your new company My client is a well-established organisation who is looking for an experienced Mobile/App QA Lead to join their team on contract basis. Your new role You will be responsible for leading an existing team of 5 to 6 QAs working across various micro apps, guiding them towards achieving excellence in testing and overall quality. Key Responsibilities:Lead and inspire a small test team, setting the course for successful testing initiatives and ensuring adherence to quality standardsDrive the formulation and execution of strategic testing approaches, leveraging expertise to achieve optimal outcomesImplement and oversee robust test management processes, utilising industry-leading tools such as Jira and Xray to streamline workflowsExecute comprehensive functional and automation testing across UI and API layers, bolstering product reliability and performanceDevelop and execute effective test automation scripts using Webdriver.io, Appium and Cucumber, enhancing efficiency and accuracyHarness the capabilities of supplementary tools like Gitlab, Blazemeter, BrowserStack, Firebase, Datadog, and Dynatrace to augment testing capabilities and insightsFoster transparent and efficient communication channels, facilitating seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing among teamsWhat you'll need to succeed Proven track record(minimum 3 years) in leading small test teams, with a focus on driving collective success and fostering a culture of excellenceExtensive hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira and Xray, demonstrating proficiency in orchestrating testing processesDemonstrated expertise in functional, non-functional and automation testing methodologies across UI and API layers, ensuring robust product qualityProficiency in crafting and executing test automation scripts using Webdriver.io, Appium and Cucumber, contributing to enhanced testing efficiencyFamiliarity with supplementary tools like Gitlab, Blazemeter, BrowserStack, Firebase, Datadog, and Dynatrace etc. enriching testing capabilities and insightsOutstanding communication skills, enabling clear articulation of ideas and fostering effective collaboration across teams.What you need to do now
