Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated MIS Manager to lead their Management Information Systems (MIS) team. This is a full-time role, offering 37 hours per week, all year round, with a competitive salary ranging from £39,255 to £47,021.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the MIS and Exam teams, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration.
Maintain expert knowledge of funding policies and regulations across further education (FE), higher education (HE), and apprenticeships.
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with audit requirements, and manage timely data returns to regulatory bodies.
Develop and maintain systems for efficient data collection, storage, and reporting, integrating with other college systems.
Oversee the curriculum planning cycle and the management of the college course master file.
Work closely with the Finance team to support the production of Management Accounts and income forecasts.
Manage the examination processes, ensuring compliance with awarding bodies and budget forecasts.
Contribute to the strategic direction of the college as part of the College Management Team.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and participate in the college's GDPR Panel. Essential Qualifications and Experience:

Experience working within the FE sector.
Thorough understanding of current further education funding methodologies and statutory data returns.
Proven track record of leading and managing a successful MIS and Examinations function.
Educated to Level 3, with strong data analytical skills and the ability to present complex information clearly. Desirable Skills:

Educated to Degree level.
Experience managing budgets and dealing with government audit testing programmes.
Knowledge of provider and government software used to monitor funding, data quality, and performance.
Experience in creating and managing Data Warehouses and writing detailed reports for senior managers. Personal Attributes:

Ability to manage a team efficiently, prioritizing workloads to meet internal and external deadlines.
