Location: Croydon, London
Salary: £13.00 per hour (PAYE) or £16.00 per hour (Umbrella Provider)

Are you ready to make a difference in the lives of others? We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Driver to join our Dementia Services team at the Marsh Willow Dementia Centre. Part-time Role: 20 hours per week split shift: 9:00 am to 11:00 am & 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Drive Minibus Services: Transport residents attending Dementia centres to and from their homes with compassion and care.
Plan Pickup Schedules: Organize routes using an A-Z map for efficient pickups.
Use of Mobile Phone: Stay connected with the team and residents for seamless communication.
Keep Records: Maintain proper documentation of each journey.
Ensure Safety: Prioritize the safety of passengers and the vehicle at all times.
Training Provided: Receive training on vehicle loading procedures to ensure safety and efficiency.
Ideal for Those with Daytime Commitments: Perfect for individuals looking for a part-time role with flexible hours during the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive vehicles and ensure regular checks and maintenance.
Be appropriately dressed and in possession of photo ID cards.
Communicate effectively with residents, carers, and Dementia Centres staff using provided mobile phone.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure service continuity and compliance.
Maintain records for monitoring and evaluating service schedules.
Requirements for the Role:
Hold an appropriate D or "D1" driving license qualification for the vehicle.
Have good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to form and maintain appropriate professional relationships with vulnerable adults and their carers.
Flexibility to respond to changing policies, needs, and demands.
Current Enhanced DBS Disclosure required.

Induction Training
