Mill Operative

We are looking for a skilled Mill Operative to join an established feed manufacturer in York. If you have a strong history working in a labouring environment and a great work ethic, we want to hear from you!
MUST BE A DRIVER DUE TO THE LOCATION.
You will be responsible for:

• Safe operation of company machinery to ensure safe and clean production of animal feed and other company produce.
• Monitoring the milling process to ensure consistent quality of the final product by conducting regular checks and adjustments.
• Ensure the work area is kept clean and tidy and that all health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Proficiently operating manufacturing machinery and equipment.
• Monitoring product quality throughout the production process, identifying and addressing defects or deviations from standards.
• Strictly following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.

As a mill operator, you will be working 12-hour shifts, 2 weeks on nights and 2 weeks on days earning �11.79 per hour, increasing to �12.06 per hour after completion of probation.To qualify for the role, you must have previous manufacturing experience. This is a genuine permanent opportunity.
