MIG /TIG Welder

Our strategic partner is a specialist in the precision fabrication of carbon and stainless steel to a variety of industries including but not limited to Defence. Nuclear and Subsea. Due to increased work load they are looking  to recruit a skilled MIG/ TIG Welder to join their team in Oldham on a permanent basis

Suitable candidates will be time served with demonstrable experience in MIG /TIG Welding a range of materials mainly including Mild/ Stainless Steel  with some Aluminium plate from 1mm - 100mm.

Given the nature of the work, candidates will ideally have been coded in the past.

All OT paid at premium rates

Role Description

• Experience in welding on a range of materials (Mild Steel/ Stainless) from 1mm - 100mm


• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills


• Carry out work in safe conditions including manual handling


• MIG/ TIG Welding

Experience and Qualifications

• Time served Engineer


• Experience of working within a precision manufacturing environment


• Experience of working with a range of materials and thicknesses


• Experience working to tight tolerances


• Comfortable reading engineering drawings
