Job DescriptionJob Overview / Purpose:You’ll need to demonstrate an expert-level of understanding for Microsoft 365 services and apps; in particular, the delivery of business focused solutions based on the Microsoft 365 collaboration stack (SharePoint Online, Teams and OneDrive for Business). This includes a good awareness and knowledge of associated Microsoft 365 security and compliance tools. An exposure to Power Automate, Power Apps, Microsoft Viva and Copilot would be advantageous, but not essential. The successful applicant will have worked with Microsoft 365 collaboration services for 3+ years and must have significant experience and familiarity of delivering solutions within these products. An understanding of business operations and business processes is also required, as is the ability to help clients identify their needs and work with them to deliver quality solutions.The Modern Workplace Consultant will be responsible for delivering projects focused on Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive for Business. Customer engagements will include Intranets, file server and SharePoint On-premises migrations, collaboration and document management solutions and bespoke business solutions built using the entire Microsoft 365 collaboration suite. Additionally, the Modern Workplace Consultant will advise on information lifecycle, governance, security, and compliance. Whilst the role will be heavily focused on project delivery, the role will require at times, participation in Pre-Sales engagements relevant to the technology area, owning and delivering the creation and communication of proposal content to customers and prospects.About You:You’ll be working in a boutique consultancy, specialising in Microsoft Collaboration sand Power Platform solutions. You’ll be working with a diverse and ever-growing customer base, delivering world-class solutions that support digital transformation. You’ll work closely with customers throughout the project lifecycle, from Proof of Concept through to project delivery. You’ll be expected to work within agreed timescales and budgets, ensuring all deadlines are met. You will also lend your technical expertise to support Sales and Marketing efforts, acting as the evangelist for all things Microsoft Collaboration.Proven organisational, communication and client-facing skills are essential, as is the ability to think on your feet and adapt to customer needs, based on updates to Microsoft’s technology roadmap. You’ll be a natural problem solver, analytical, inquisitive and have a desire to keep up with emerging technologies. But most importantly of all, you will need to have high levels of self-motivation, innovation and the drive to really make a difference.Skills, Experience and Qualifications:·
Strong technical knowledge of Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business.·
Ability to lead a project from start to finish.·
3+ years’ proven and relevant experience in a consultancy or internal IT services role.·
Appropriate Technical certifications (desirable but not essential).·
An understanding of applying and transitioning technical solution into delivery (planning / phasing / timelines).·
Technical and commercial document writing experience (project scoping documents and proposals).·
Ability to articulate and present technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and audiences.·
Excellent listening, communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills.·
Ability to cope under pressure and prioritise work accordingly.·
Ability to work to customer and internal deadlines.
