MI Analyst – Lloyd’s Market – Management Information – Permanent - £60k
A reputable London Markets Insurance Business is looking for an MI analyst to join their Operations team. The main purpose of this role is to assist with the continued development of Management Information reports and use of data across the business to support and add valuable information to end users.
This role will be a key support to the Business Insights Manager and will be responsible for coordinating and designing MI production for Internal and external regulatory reporting purposes. The role will have a broad scope covering all business classes across the Syndicate.
Core Delivery:Support key functions across the business with data and analytics, and identify any areas where enhancements could be made.Work closely with Technical and Business teams to resolve issues with a data and analytics approach.Explore new software and concepts that could assist the MI department or wider business operations.Produce high quality reporting on business activity. The successful Candidate will have the following:Demonstrable experience creating high quality reports using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.Working knowledge of SQL databases and being able to query SQL data.Confidence in dealing with non-technical end-users.A Lloyd’s Insurance background would be highly beneficial for this role, as well as good understanding of key insurance concepts such as Underwriting, Claims, Operations and back office functions.Cornwallis Elt is an Employment Agency & Employment Business and has been listed 3 times in The Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100 of the UK`s fastest growing private companies, as well as in the Recruitment International Top 250, Top 50 in IT and the Recruiter Fast 50 & Hot 100 reports.
