About the role

As a Meter Reader you will be responsible for collecting data in both commercial and residential properties. Youll update meter reads accurately throughout the day on your handheld device. Youll be an ambassador for the company, representing many of the UKs leading suppliers. As a member of the MDS family youll play a key role within our business and represent our brand. What does an average day look like?
Initially you join our training environment before moving out into the field. Start your day by signing into your handheld device so youre ready for the day ahead. Your day will begin with you planning your route. Meters can be inside or outside properties, so youll need to decide what time youre more likely to gain access to an inside meter. Youll spend your daywalkingor driving (depending on the area you cover)from property to property, always ensuring your own and customers safety.
