Job Title: Metal Polisher

Location: Leicester

Pay: �12 - �13 per hour

Shift: 8am to 5pm (Monday - Thursday) 8am to 1pm (Friday)

A respected bespoke furniture company, with a manufacturing workshop in Leicester, are looking for a Metal Polisher to join their team, due to a growth in the business.

Responsibilities

• The Metal Polisher is responsible for the preparation and polishing of brass components to a high standard in the companies lighting workshop, ensuring quality and that the production schedule is maintained.
• Responsibility for components and consumables within the polishing workshop.
• Use of a polishing wheel.
• General workshop maintenance and housekeeping.

The Metal Polisher candidate:

• The successful candidate will be working with the Finishing Specialist and Fabricator to deliver outstanding designs to agreed QC specifications.

• Experience of metal polishing (Minimum 2 years.)
• Experience of using hand and power tools.
• Experience of finishing processes (hot and cold patination.)
• Experience of electrical wiring (desired.)
• Interest and existing knowledge of luxury furniture and lighting a bonus.
