Junior Wholesale Merchandiser
Location: Manchester
Product Area: Women’s / men’s / Kids high street supplier
Salary to £27K depending on experience + Bens
We are working with a well-established high street supplier with 4 UK office as well as bases in France, Germany and Spain and now looking to attack the USA . They work with numerous UK and overseas retailers and are looking for a solid Senior Wholesale Merchandiser ASAP. The Senior Wholesale Merchandiser will be the main point of call between the customer's
Buying/Merchandising
teams and factories overseas across Europe and the Middle / Far East.
The role will be to communicate daily with the factories the supplier use on current orders and be involved in negotiating prices and set targets to maximise profitability and delivery with a high level of critical path management to ensure any issues are sounded out to meet the customer's delivery dates.
MUST HAVES TO BE SHORTLISTED
Recent and sound experience as a Junior Wholesale Merchandiser within a clothing high street supplier
Knowledge of Jersey product ideal
Experienced in negotiating with buyers and factories on fabric/product prices and alternative options to meet targets.
High Level of Critical Path planning and management.
Organized deliveries from the factory to customers' warehouse.
Happy to build strong relationships with Buying and Design Teams for smooth Critical path management.
High level of Word, Excel and Outlook.
Organised in planning deliveries with retailers and our warehouse to meet delivery dates,
Strong knowledge of different
fabrics/qualities/constructions
Ideally some experience in Licensing approval
London based and eligible to work in the UK for 5 or more years.
