MEP Quantity Surveyor

Our client are a multi-national civil and infrastructure group looking for a MEP Quantity Surveyor based in Birmingham, Curzon Street HS2 Project.

Role:

The successful candidate will manages the cost and contract management aspects of MEP work packages within the project from initiation to close-out.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Administer contractual terms and conditions for suppliers and sub- contractors
• Administer incentive arrangements as appropriate
• Support the assessment of EWN's and compensation events
• Report expenditure against the package budget on a monthly basis
• Receive and review monthly valuations from contractors and prepare recommendation for signature by the project manager and designer

Essential Requirements:

• Relevant experience of commercial management of MEP packages in medium or bi.
• Past experience of construction projects
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Good knowledge of all aspects of commercial management

Desirable:

• Good IT skills especially excel and commercial software
• Previous experience of working in the M&E environment
• Strong focus on detail
