Part-Time Mental Health Support Worker required for Crosby Secondary School

We are currently working with a Crosby secondary school who are actively seeking a part-time Mental Health Support Worker to support a Year 9 female student with their social, emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

The student has been assessed and it is felt a female Teaching Assistant would be better suited to the child's needs. The role is to start as soon and will continue until the end of the academic year.

The role is part time, 3 days a week, Tuesday-Thursday, 8am- 3.15pm. The daily rate will be £95.00 a day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Assist in implementing tailored strategies to enhance learning and behaviour.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Some experience working with children or young people.
  • Background in professions with transferable skills.
  • Passion for supporting the emotional and mental well-being of students.

The essentials:

  • Enhanced Child workforce DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new one
  • Full and complete 10-year career history
  • Minimum of 2 references including your most recent employment reference
  • Legal right to work in the UK
