Come and join the UK's 4th largest provider in Neuro and Mental Healthcare. We proudly employ over 4000+ people - no matter what your experience, we have jobs for everyone.We'd like you to join us as a Staff Nurse at our service Holybourne Hospital in London.Holybourne Hospital in London is an Adult Mental Health hospital for men and women with severe and complex mental health conditions.We provide high quality intensive treatment in a clinically safe, caring and secure environment, supporting the NHS when intensive care needs cannot be met locally.Age range: adults over 18 years old.What you'll be working:We're flexible, so you'll work a total 37.5 hours per week, on a rota basis. What you'll be doing:• Assessing and delivering effective individual care and treatment towards the service users• Working according to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional
guidelines as a named nurse or key worker for a defined group of patients.• Providing a high quality individualised standard of care to a defined group of patients, relatives and carers.• Ensuring the effective supervision and development of staff .• Working and acting as a key member of the team, supporting each patient with achieving their planned outcomes.• Acting as the primary nurse in the assessment of needs and organising of care.• Taking charge of a designated clinical area.• Adopting a flexible approach to hours of duty, in order to meet the needs of the service over a 24 hour period.People Management• Ensuring the provision of appropriate supervision and support to members of the ward team• Managing allocated resources effectively through efficient resource allocation, skill mixes, roster management, and utilisation of
equipment and authorisation of bank/agency staff.• Participating in clinical audit, clinical risk and quality issues, including the management and reporting of incidents• Acting as a team leader for a group of nurses, acting as a mentor/preceptor• Deputising for the manager as and when requiredCommunication and Relationship Skills• Providing a high level of Communication with internal and external stakeholders• Participating in discussions and debates and staff meetings offering views, ideas and opinions.• Participating in the process of positively supporting and inspiring colleagues within the service to improve standards and quality
