Day Support Worker Positions Available

As a Day Worker with our client, you'll become an integral part of a welcoming community that goes beyond conventional care settings. Here's why your role at our client's organization is truly distinctive:

Charitable Spirit: Operating as a charity, our client provides a unique and enriching environment for thirty-nine men and women aged 40 and over. As a team member, you'll contribute significantly to supporting adults in need of practical, emotional, and social assistance due to mental health issues.

Diverse Residential Options: Residents enjoy the comfort of four high-quality cottages, individual apartments within an Italian-style courtyard, a two-bedroom high-needs bungalow offering specialized care, and a main house boasting 17 'state of the art' rooms. This diversity allows us to tailor our support to individual needs.

Inclusive Community: At our client's organization, the emphasis is on creating a true "Home" for all individuals, where they feel valued and respected. We foster a sense of belonging within our community, promoting a comfortable and friendly atmosphere.

Enriching Activities: The Day Centre provides a central hub for residents to socialize, participate in activities, and gain life skills. Additionally, short breaks, including 2–4 day holidays to Warners, seaside resorts, and country retreats, are actively encouraged and accompanied by our dedicated staff.

Requirements:

  • Genuine commitment to supporting individuals with mental health challenges.
  • Flexibility for day shifts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A caring and compassionate approach to resident care
  • Due to the rural location and the absence of public transport to the site, applicants must possess a valid driver's license and have the use of a vehicle.
  • Previous experience working with people with mental health challenges.
