Delivering better outcomes that have a positive impact on the world around us.We work smarter to face the challenges of the future; bringing the clarity that helps teams realise their full potential across the real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors.As a Planner, you will provide services as required by our clients, which may include:Leading the planning discipline team on high complexity, high risk project or programmesCreation and maintenance of project schedules that assist and align with project requirementsAdherence to NEC or FIDIC contract processes for management of schedule data and submissionsAssist project team to develop status reports to keep management informed on project progressOversight of day-to-day management, staffing and the implementation of Integrated Project Controls standards and processesDevelopment of the project schedules in conjunction with the project manager and project teamReducing uncertainty, know objectives and improve efficiencyInteracting with the project team to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original planInteracting with and assisting the project managers to schedule work and coordinate assignmentsEvaluation of project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areasBreakdown of the critical path and constraints to understand the effect of changes to schedule and recommend a work-aroundAssisting project managers to maintain timely and effective change management processes and proceduresConducting analysis to understand alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedulesUndertaking of project reviewsMonitoring and consolidating of overall project plansMonitoring the project managers reporting system summarising the progress status of all projectsMonitor and advise on status of project KPIsYou have professional Project Controls experience specialising in Planning & Scheduling in multiple sectors across the whole Project lifecycle. You have strong knowledge and proficiency with Primavera (P6) and/or other planning and resourcing software. You are able to coordinate and work with other teams and have multi-disciplinary knowledge. You will be a strong communicator and leader with the ability to influence, manage, motivate, coach and develop a team by creating a diverse, inclusive and performing team that is promoting empowerment and contribution and with a passion to build a supporting community and network beyond the delivery activities.You should also have;A degree in a relevant technical or management field or suitable equivalent qualifications and experience.A membership to a relevant professional body e.g., Association for Project Management, Project Management Institute.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to make risk-based decisions where the parameters are unclear and judgement is needed.Project team leadership with the ability to mobilise, inspire and lead by example.Flexibility to work within different sectors and with diverse clients.Ability to navigate through conflict situations and defusing tension.If you meet most, but not all, of the above, do still apply!
