My client is a global research-based biopharmaceutical company.They are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join them initially on a 12 month contract.Ideally experience with HIV or infectious diseases.RoleResponds to clinical inquiries regarding marketed or developmental productsDevelops and presents complex scientific and clinical data for these productsIdentifies and develops regional and national opinion leaders to support products and trains approved speakers through personal contacts and on-site visitsEstablishes strong relationships with opinion leaders, clinical investigators and healthcare professionals in academic and non- academic settingsSupports sales force with training at national and regional levelsWorks on Phase IV programme that includes collaboration with both investigators and internal personnelSelects sites for both Phase IV and other clinical trialsAnticipates complex obstacles and difficulties that may arise in the field and resolves them in a collaborative mannerWorks collaboratively with personnel in Sales, Marketing, Clinical Research, market access and public affairsUtilises scientific resources to deliver impactful presentations in a variety of different settingsTravels to appointments, meetings and conferences on a frequent and regular basis, occasionally with short noticeEducation and ExperienceAdvanced degree (e.g. Medical doctor, PharmD, PhD,) required or may have a degree in pharmacy/nursing/life sciences with varying levels of clinical and/or industry experienceClinical practice experience and NHS landscape awareness within a relevant therapeutic area of interest are desirableTherapy areas - HIV, Hepatitis or infectious diseases Seniority levelSeniority level Mid-Senior level Employment typeEmployment type Contract Job functionJob function Health Care Provider Industries Staffing and Recruiting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Parkside Recruitment by 2xGet notified about new
