Our client, a global and leading business in their field, are looking to grow their team with a new Medical Procurement Partner to join their Welwyn team and office on a hybrid basis (minimum of 2 days in the office).This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead strategic procurement initiatives, shaping our client's future direction with precision and expertise. Our client is a strong believer in a diverse and dynamic work environment, where your hard work will be rewarded with a generous benefits package and regular recognition and rewards.This is a 6 month contract (inside IR35) that is likely to extend.Responsibilities as a Medical Procurement PartnerCraft and implement procurement strategies to align with company objectives.Serve as a Procurement Partner, utilizing market expertise and business acumen to guide operations.Develop and execute local supplier relationship management plans to enhance key supplier performance, in tandem with stakeholders.Lead sourcing initiatives, employing methodologies to enhance total cost, service, and quality for indirect materials.Ensure compliance with global and local procurement standards.Oversee procurement processes and tools, fostering improvement and user engagement in local Procure to Pay procedures (e.g., myBuy, Fieldglass, or future systems).Prioritize efforts based on business needs and stakeholder input, maximizing the procurement impact in support of business priorities.Experience / Skills You are very well structured and have a high sense of detail.Your analytical mind enables you to conceptualise and propose solutions based on the outcome of analyses.You are result and solution oriented, you focus on highest quality standards.You have 3 plus years of experience in similar roles in procurement.You appreciate working in a performance-oriented environment that is based on mutual respect, discussion and cooperation.You enjoy taking initiatives and you go beyond what is expected.You have commercial negotiation skills with experience in contract negotiation.CIPs qualified preferredExperience in Marketing and Medical procurement preferredJob Title: MedicalProcurement PartnerLocation: Welwyn (Hybrid, 2 days in the office)Salary:
300 - 375 per day (PAYE basic excluding holiday pay) OR
