Medical Officer

Are you dedicated to delivering outstanding medical care within an educational setting? Tradewind is in search of a committed School Medical Officer to join an outstanding Secondary School in Bexleyheath with an immediate start.

Role: School Medical Officer

Location: Bexleyheath

Salary: �15 - �17 per hour

Commencement: Immediate starting in March

Responsibilities:

• Medical Administration: Oversee medical records, manage inventory of medical supplies, and coordinate with healthcare professionals as required. Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Providing Care to Unwell Students and Staff: Assess and offer initial care to students and staff members who fall unwell during school hours. Administer first aid treatments and facilitate appropriate referrals when necessary.
• Health Promotion: Collaborate with school administration to advance health and wellness initiatives among students and staff. Conduct health education sessions and engage in pertinent school activities.

Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Valid First Aid Qualification.

These qualifications are imperative for the School Medical Officer role. Consideration for the position is contingent upon possessing the requisite qualifications.
