Medical Imaging Software Engineer

SciPro are proud to continue our partnership with Seon Diagnostics. Seon Diagnostics is a medical device company developing AI-based automated Retinal image analysis software. Based remotely across the UK, they are entering an exciting period of growth and this role will be crucial in setting up their next phase of product development.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with the ML Development Team and the Regulatory Team to devise and execute a cloud-based data-driven application tailored to business requirements, emphasizing security.

• Develop and implement ML Ops Solutions according to specified requirements, leveraging prior familiarity with the Microsoft Azure cloud stack if possible.

• Enhance system efficiency through testing, debugging, and incorporating new components into the cloud environment.

• Guarantee compliance of cloud solutions and pipelines with pertinent data privacy and security regulations, adhering to both Azure and Seon security standard best practices.

What you will bring:

• Proficient in crafting production-level code using Python (ideally FastAPI)

• Well-versed in software development best practices, encompassing version control, testing methodologies, and continuous integration techniques.

• Skilled in the development of cloud computing platforms, with a preference for experience in Azure, though familiarity with AWS and GCP is also valued.

• Knowledgeable about API design principles and acquainted with microservice and containerization solutions like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with standards and regulatory guidelines within the MedTech/Medical Devices industry, ensuring adherence to safety and reliability protocols.
