A Media Teacher is needed in a Coeducational Secondary School & Sixth Form in East London/Essex.

This Media Teacher post will be full time and long term.

Teaching for this Media Teacher position will be for KS4 only.

Standard responsibilities will apply if you are appointed as a Media Teacher. This includes but isn't limited to; planning lessons, assessing pupil progress and attending staff meetings/parents evenings.

The rates of pay for this Media Teacher position will range from £150 to £250 a day, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each candidate.

The School

A 'Good' school in Thurrock.

It comes equipped with specialist labs for the teaching of both.

There are a range of clubs on offer to pupils at the school. Some of these are for Reading, Film, Dungeons & Dragons, Languages, Harry Potter, Board Games, Chess, Poetry, Food, STEM, Football, Netball, Art, Band, Basketball, Singing, Textiles and Rugby.

Requirements

Applications are welcome if you are a newly qualified Media Teacher or experienced Media Teacher.

You are encouraged to apply if you are a British trained Media Teacher or overseas trained Media Teacher too.

• Right to work in the UK
• UK QTS or overseas equivalent
• Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
• Experience of teaching as a Media Teacher in UK schools
