Holt Executive are supporting a leading manufacturer who plays a key role in global aviation specialising in building and delivering wings for commercial aircraft.
They are seeking a talented Mechanical Systems Engineer to join their dynamic Landing Gear department and play a key role within the Mechanical Systems (Gears) team.
Rates:

• �28.73 Per Hour PAYE
• �38.00 Per Hour Outside IR35/Umbrella

Key Responsibilities for the Mechanical Systems Engineer:

• Investigate root causes of issues and implement solutions, including equipment modifications.
• Develop and qualify new mechanical systems, ensuring they meet stringent safety, cost, quality, and timeliness standards.
• Lead the development of systems to meet product needs and ensure adherence to established processes.
• Collaborate with specialists to guarantee compliance with certification requirements.
• Manage and mitigate project risks and opportunities, keeping stakeholders informed.

Skills and Experience Required by the Mechanical Systems Engineer:

• Knowledge and experience in developing mechanical systems, including hydro-mechanical components and equipment.
• Educated to degree level in Engineering or a related discipline.
• A strong background in engineering, systems, and equipment design.
• Proven ability to manage tasks, deliver on time, and meet cost and quality targets.
• Experience leading project teams and managing stakeholders.
• Experience with structural analysis (static stress and/or fatigue).
