Mechanical Supervisor

A leading main contractor that operates across Ireland and the UK, primarily in residential, commercial, data centre and industrial sectors, is actively recruiting a freelance Mechanical Supervisor for a £50 million industrial project in the Oxfordshire area. The ideal candidate with come from a similar background and have a solid track record of delivering projects to spec on time and within budget, and boast strong leadership qualities.

This client has recently put a huge emphasis on their data centre and industrial division in the London and Home Counties region, you would be joining the company at a fantastic time with them tendering heavily in the area.

This is on a long term freelance basis with work there until the end of 2024.

Mechanical Supervisor Key Responsibilities: 

• Management of Site QA in conjunction with the Mechanical Package Manager including set up, management and close out of file. 


• Familiarity with and management of Project Schedule in conjunction with other trades, Package Leads, consulting Engineer and Client requirements 


• Management of all day to day on site operations 


• Attendance at Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning and Co-ordination Meetings and Handover Meetings 

Mechanical Supervisor Requirements:  

• An engineering qualification or relevant work experience 


• Good Computer skills in word, excel etc. 


• Industrial/cleanroom experience desirable


• Flexible to travel  


• Proven record of co-ordinating and managing large projects
