With a focus on delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical building services, our company prides itself on professionalism, reliability, and excellence in every project we undertake.Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the installation of mechanical building services for a large-scale residential project in Plumsted. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the first and second stages of the project, which include 71 apartments plus an energy centre in the first stage, and 232 apartments in the second stage, with a total M&E value of £8 million.Responsibilities:Manage the installation of Mechanical building services systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulations.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.Oversee the work of onsite personnel to maintain productivity and quality standards.Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project milestones are met.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.Liaise with client representatives, consultants, and other stakeholders to address any concerns or queries related to the HVAC installations.Prepare progress reports, schedules, and documentation as required by the project management team.Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve any technical challenges or issues that may arise during the installation process.Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to review and approve HVAC system designs and drawings.Requirements:Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the residential construction sector.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and installation techniques.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage onsite teams and communicate with stakeholders.Understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices in construction.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.Flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between the site in Plumsted and head office in Sunbury-on-Thames for monthly visits.Join our team and play a key role in delivering successful projects while contributing to the growth and success of our family firm.
