Description

• Conducting regular checks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Undertaking preventative maintenance tasks as per schedule.
• Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical faults as and when they arise.
• Assisting in the commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Liaising with other team members to ensure smooth operation of production lines.
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Providing technical advice to colleagues as required.

Profile

A successful Mechanical Shift Engineer should have:

• An educational background in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial / manufacturing industry.
• A solid understanding of mechanical systems and machinery.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
