About Our Client The client is a successful blue-chip chemical manufacturer based in Kingston Upon Hull.
Job Description The Mechanical Reliability Engineer will be responsible for:* Lead Reliability Centred Maintenance and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to determine equipment functionality, capability, probability of asset failure and provide mitigation strategies* Support in asset critically assessments of existing and new assets to prevent repeat failures* Collaborate with the maintenance team to provide guidance on maintenance repairs and production to update on estimated down time* Work in collaboration with the business' Centre of Excellence to ensure best practice maintenance techniques and technologies are embedded
The Successful Applicant The successful Mechanical Reliability Engineer will have:* Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering subject - in place of a degree (HNC/HND) or equivalent qualification anddemonstrated relevant experience* Able to work safely and embed a strong safety culture* Understanding of predictive maintenance technologies and analytics* Experience working with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)* Ability to identify and resolve the Root Causes of Asset failure* Experience from a heavy industrial processing background (e.g. Chemicals, Biofuels, Oil and Gas etc.)
