EMBS Engineering is currently recruiting for a skilled Quality Inspector to join a precision engineering company located in North Nottingham, working permanently.

Due to the nature of the work & industries supported within this position, candidates may be subject to requiring security clearances, therefore, our client is unable to support visa applications from residents outside of the UK. Only applications meeting this criteria will be considered.

* Days with an early finish on Fridays

* Overtime is available at premium rates (x1.5 after 39 hours and x2 on Sundays)

EMBS Engineering is in an exclusive partnership with a reputable engineering company located in Nottinghamshire which is a globally recognised, market-leading precision engineering/manufacturing business that supports world-renowned industry leaders.

Your responsibilities include:

* Inspecting precision components using manual measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers, calipers etc and/or CMM

* Identifying and raising NCR's

* Performing first off, stage and final inspection

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

* ​​Strong background in Quality Inspection

* Previously inspected machined components for high profile industries such as; Aerospace, Defence, Motorsport, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Petrochemical etc.

* Ability to operate CMMs and/or Faro Arms would be advantageous but is not essential

* Ability to self-inspect parts using manual measuring equipment - micrometers, verniers, calipers, gauges etc.

* Confident reading and interpreting engineering drawings

* Knowledge of performing first-off, stage and final inspection

* Worked on small to medium-sized, precision machined components
