Mechanical Project Manager MEP Contracting (Building Services) London Perm OR Freelance, Outside IR35My client is a dynamic and innovative Mechanical contractor specializing in diverse projects across commercial, residential, healthcare and data centre sectors across London and Portsmouth.Due to company growth and new project wins, they are seeking a proficient Mechanical Project Manager to oversee projects primarily focused on commercial office fit-outs. You will play a pivotal role in managing projects valued between 250k to 6m. Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead and manage mechanical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Coordinate with cross-functional teams including engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, while proactively identifying and addressing potential issues or risks.Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, provide solutions, and ensure overall satisfaction with project deliverables.Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance standards on all projects to maintain a safe working environment.Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement among project team members.Candidates with fit-out experience and longevity in their CVs are preferred, although those with residential backgrounds may also be considered.Tier 1 background is not mandatory.Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction methodologies, and industry best practices.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Benefits:Competitive salaryTravel expenses paid forPension25 day annual leave + bank holidaysFor more information, please e-mail #####(s): Building ServicesJob type: Permanent
