If you possess mechanical engineering expertise, management qualifications, and are prepared to travel for projects in London, we want to hear from you! Role Overview: As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading mechanical projects across commercial, education, and industrial sectors, including plant refurbishments. Collaborating closely with our dedicated team, you will ensure the successful delivery of projects while upholding stringent quality standards and adhering to project budgets and timelines. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive family-run environment and contribute to impactful projects in Coventry and London. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee mechanical projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with project specifications, budgets, and schedules. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate efficient project execution and resolve any project-related challenges. Manage all aspects of project planning, including resource allocation, procurement, and risk management. Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. Prepare and deliver project reports to stakeholders, providing updates on project status, milestones, and potential risks. Travel to project sites in London as required, overseeing project activities and collaborating with onsite teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within the construction industry, preferably with exposure to commercial, education, and industrial sectors. Mechanical engineering qualifications and management certifications are essential. Thorough understanding of mechanical systems and regulations, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills. Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively. Availability to travel to project sites in London as needed.
