Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager



Location: Stirling, Scotland (with projects across Scotland)

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our team. As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of mechanical projects throughout Scotland. From conception to completion, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and manage mechanical projects from initiation to closure, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.

  • Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project objectives are met and stakeholders are satisfied.

  • Develop project plans and schedules, identifying critical milestones and allocating resources accordingly.

  • Monitor project progress, track performance metrics, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.

  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and forecast costs to ensure projects remain within financial targets.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Foster a culture of safety on all projects, implementing best practices and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.

  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders, communicating progress, challenges, and recommendations effectively.



Qualifications and Skills:




  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead project teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.

  • Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is preferred.
