Static Position

We are currently recruiting for an experienced�Mechanical Plumber�to work at a static facility based in Basildon, Essex. The�client for the FM company�is one of the biggest suppliers of defence and security to the MOD in the UK, the business has 8 sites across the UK and exports different systems across the world. You will join a team of 4 engineers across the site which is a mixture of offices and manufacturing buildings. In an ideal world the candidate will come from a mixed FM background and present skills across the M&E discipline.

There will be a training opportunity in future to become an Electrical AP/Authorizing Engineer on the site which will come with an additional bonus to your annual basic salary. These courses would include things such as a Pressure Systems AP. It is also expected that you will be able to pass an SC Clearance due to the nature of the site.�

In this position you'll be responsible for the reactive & planned maintenance of the commercial side of the complex.

Qualifications / Experience for a Mechanical Plumber:

• NVQ / C&G�level 2/3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing


• Experienced in dealing with clients


• Excellent team working, customer care and problem-solving capabilities
