Fantastic contractor that have a great name within the M&E industry.� They have always specialised in residential projects and are now looking at expanding into the commercial sector.� We are looking for a Mechanical Manager / assistant project Manager to join this sector overseeing a couple project from including schools and commercial builds.





Position Overview:



We are looking for a Mechanical Manager / Assistant Project Manager to join this sector overseeing a couple project from including schools and commercial builds.AS this division of the business grows there are great chances for the person to progress and have a path in place to move into Project manager, Contracts Manager and Director level positions.� You will be working closely with the Managing Director of the business as you help to develop this division, giving you a great person to learn from.



Responsibilities:




  • Assist in planning and executing mechanical engineering contracts, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

  • Collaborate with the Contracts Manager and Managing Director to develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets.

  • Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems.

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • Coordinate with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients.

  • Prepare and review project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, codes, and regulations.



Requirements:




  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in mechanical project management.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, HVAC, and plumbing.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
