Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Job DescriptionJob Title: TechnicianLocation: CoventryHours/Contract: Full-time (37.5 hours per week), permanent, salariedScope of the Role:Reporting to the External Centre Manager (ECM) and Team Leader, the Technician will work as directed to complete maintenance and repair tasks, and return to service breakdowns in a timely fashion, supporting the requirements of the Customer.Main Duties and Responsibilities:Support the Team Leader in completing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks and complete work as directed.Attend breakdowns and faults promptly, repairing or escalating them as required.Identify ways to reduce Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) and increase Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), supporting the ECM in implementing best practices to achieve this.Understand and work at all times in line with Fives Values and Directives, specifically following the highest standards of health and safety.Carry out any other reasonable duties as requested.Be available to undertake training and upskill as required.Key Skills Requirements:Level 3 Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.Ability to work alone or as part of a team.Able to manage own time and meet tight deadlines.Willingness to learn and be flexible to support the operation and ECM.Good communication skills.
