Job & Company Summary:Our Client, an established M&E contractor, are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to work on maintenance and aftercare projects across London.Duties & Responsibilities:
* Planned Preventative Maintenance (Commercial & Landlords) - The engineer is expected to carry out Monthly, Quarterly, 6-Monthly, and Annual servicing for their respective expertise, which in this case will need to be Mechanical. This can consist of but not limited to, Expansion Vessel Servicing, Air Dirt Separator Servicing, Side Stream Filter Servicing, Dosing Pot Servicing, Extract Fans Servicing, Strainers Servicing, Daily Pool Sampling, Daily Wet Riser Pump Running etc. The servicing will be allocated to the engineer by each of the sites specific Manager via our management system “Job Logic” which will send jobs directly to an iPad device that will be provided.
* Reactive Works (Commercial & Landlords ) - The engineer is expected to carry out remedial works for their respective expertise, which in this case will need to be Mechanical. This can consist of but not limited to, replacement of valves/plant, fixing leaks, replacement of pipework, cleaning filters, investigating intermittent heating/hot water loss etc. This type of works is generally done in hours. Reactive Works will be allocated to the engineer by each of the sites specific Manager via our management system “Job Logic” which will send jobs directly to an iPad device that will be provided.
* Callouts (Commercial, Landlords & Residential) - The engineer is expected to attend out of hours Callouts using their own vehicle for their respective expertise, which in this case will need to be Mechanical. This can consist of but not limited to leaks, loss of heating, loss of hot water, loss of BCWS, loss of CHW. Initially, you will be placed on a 1 week on, 2 weeks off callout rota, where there is a possibility that you would need to attend one or more projects and assist with emergenciesPerson Specifications / Qualifications:
* Own vehicle.
* Tools - Not included (except for specialist equipment).
* NVQ level 2 plumbing and heating (or equivalent) preferred.
* Client facing skills
* Well spoken and written English.The company offers:
* Travel/Petrol - £2k per annum.
* Callouts - £50 standby payment per week for being on call, £100 per attendance & £50 per hour.
* Working Hours - 7.30am to 17.00pm on Monday to Thursday, 7.30am to 16.00pm on Friday.
* Holiday - 24 days per annum. (Excl Bank Holidays)
* Sick Pay - Statutory Sick Pay.
* Pension Plan - included. (Optional).
* Private Health Insurance - included.If as CIS contractor employment :
* Duration: 3-Years, possibly more.
* Travel/Petrol - £160.00 P/month
* Working hours: 7:30am-5pm Monday-Thursday and 7:30am-4pm on Friday
* Callouts - £50 standby payment per week for being on call, £100 per attendance & £50 per hour.
* Rate: £25 per an hour
