The Role
Play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future.
Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
Work from mechanical engineering drawings, general arrangement drawings, and method statements to achieve the objectives.
Work with assembly and installation drawings.
Perform hand and machine shaping of materials and components.
Assemble and install mechanical plant and equipment.
Test mechanical equipment and pipework, employing fault-finding techniques and adjusting mechanical plant as needed.
You are a great fit if you have:
Proven experience in the installation, assembly and precision lining and levelling of mechanical plant and equipment.
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical jointing techniques.
Proven track record in nuclear power preferred.
Experience working on major construction projects.
NVQ 3 / Ace Card in Mechanical Fitting / Others considered.
CCNSG Safety Passport.
