Our client (a family-owned company) is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join their Mechanical Department. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly proficient team in a lower tier COMAH facility.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience in mechanical preventative and reactive maintenance in industrial settings, including work on gearboxes, pumps, mechanical seals, and pipework
Proficiency in mechanical plant installation and modification
Knowledge of statutory inspections, including pressure testing, plant integrity, and commissioning
Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and other technical information
Adherence to company safe systems of work and permit to work systems
Qualifications/Training:
