Mechanical Fitter Team Leader

A growing business based in Sandy is looking for a Mechanical Fitter Team Leader to supervise daily work activities, maintain a safe working environment and support the production manager. Along with a salary of up to £39,000 per annum, you will receive an annual bonus, bereavement leave, employee discount, life insurance and sick pay.
You will be working Monday-Friday, 39 hours per week.
As Mechanical Fitter Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include working alongside the Production Manager to:
Oversee department H&S and quality needs
Maintain a clean & tidy working environment
Develop & maintain individuals training and skill requirements
Lead teams and direct focus towards goals for achieving production deliverables
Participate in working activities & solves working problems
focus on continuous improvements by creating efficiencies, implementing & completing projects
Cover areas/tasks in the absence of the production manager
Set high quality expectations & upskilling others
Review shelf-life of adhesives, checking stock levels of consumables
requesting purchase
Update on successes, issues, concerns & opportunities
verbally or by written report
Adhere to the procedures defined by All-Fills ISO9001 QA system.
