I am excited to confirm that I am currently working with an established business that are growing their Mechanical side of the business who are now seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join their team in Kent.
This business specialises within plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning sectors and has a varied client base.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experiencing in pricing jobs within their set industry who is confident in their ability to manage the process from end to end as a trusted part of the business.
They are looking for someone to take complete ownership and work closely with the senior management team to ensure the company’s success and customers satisfaction. As the business expands further, this will allow for growth into a Director’s based role and allow you to grow your team where you will oversee this department.
The Role:
To be able to head up this side of the business and manage the whole estimation process from end to end
To attend varied customer sites to carry out surveys and manage the end to end process of receiving the tender to the end process of submission of quotations
Keeping the whole process in house so must be confident with carrying out drawings within the mechanical sectors
To work closely with the internal team to ensure projects are handed over in a timely manner so must be confident in management ability
Hybrid working available
The Candidate:
To be confident in pricing jobs within heating, ventilation and plumbing sectors
To be confident in ability to be able to run with the responsibility of leading from the front and dealing directly with a varied customer base
Be able to work closely with the company Directors and feedback where required to help with efficiencies, strategies and customer delivery and satisfaction
To thrive off working under pressure and to deadlines
To have a good understanding of estimating software’s
To be happy travelling into London
